Casey Stoney has backed England to recover from their painful defeat to Spain on Friday night.
The Three Lions lost 3-2 in their opening match of Euro 2013 despite their second equaliser, courtesy of Laura Bassett, coming in the 89th minute.
And after a light training session on Saturday afternoon, the captain admitted her side have enough resolve to put the defeat behind them in time for the second Group C match against Russia.
She told FATV: “We never like to do things easy, but we know we’ve got enough in this team to go out there and get a result on Monday.
“We’ve got two games left in this tournament and we need to make sure we perform better than we did last night.
“Hopefully now the opening game nerves are out of the way, we can go out on Monday a little bit more relaxed and play - because we can play, but we didn’t show that last night.”
