In the K1 Women’s Category GB for many years over have placed high in the World rankings. This weekend it’s to be no exception as World Championship Silver medallist Fiona Pennie, 27 year old on form Laura Blakeman and 20 year old gutsy Lizzie Neave will be racing hard (all are Nottingham based).
Team racing on Friday is the first opportunity to compete for medals. C1s took a medal at their last International and both kayak teams are ready to make it too.

With lots of talent and potential the competition promises to be memorable! Watch out - GBR is out to beat: Martikan SVK and Estanguet FRA(C1), Hochschorners SVK (C2), Kaliska SVK (WK1) and Billaut FRA and Pfanmoeller GER (MK1)
