OTTAWA – The competitive season gets underway Friday for Canada’s World Aquatic Championship team.
In preparation for the upcoming World Championships in July the team will be competing in the two-day 2nd Annual Barcelona Trophy, held in Barcelona, Spain at the Picornell Pool.
The team will be competing in the Duet Free, Duet Tech, Team Free, Team Tech and will swim the combo and Solo Free and Solo Tech as exhibition.
Tracy Little and Elise Marcotte will represent Canada in the Duet Tech, while Marie-Pier Boudreau Gagnon and Chloe Isaac will perform the Duet Free. Boudreau-Gagnon will also swim the Solo Tech, while Isaac is Canada’s representative in the Solo Free.
In addition to Canada and Spain, Japan, Great Britain, Switzerland and the Netherlands will be taking part.
The Trophy gets underway with the Team Tech, Duet Free and Team Free on Friday followed by the Duet Tech and Team Free, as well as the exhibition performances, on Saturday.
