Only one boat per country per class is permitted to compete at the 2007 Olympic Test Event – known officially as the ‘Good Luck Beijing 2007 Qingdao International Regatta’ – with British sailors due to compete in each of the 11 Olympic classes.
“Skandia Team GBR, from established Olympians to our younger champions, put in a great performance in Cascais,” said Chairman of the Olympic Selection Committee, Chris Atkins.
“We’ve a strong squad of dedicated sailors and are looking forward to the challenge of repeating this success in Qingdao.”
The 2007 Olympic Test Event will run from 9-24 August at the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Centre.
