British National Track Championships Day 5 roundup
A capacity crowd at the Manchester velodrome witnessed another day of world class track cycling, as Olympic champion Rebecca Romero returned to the boards, Victoria Pendleton won her 29th National title.
Victoria Pendleton had earlier retained the Women's Keirin title, seeing off the challenge of Jess Varnish and Helen Scott as she led out the group from the front and powered her way to another gold medal, the sixth in succession for the Keirin event.
In the Women's pursuit final the much fancied Horizon Fitness outfit, including the Paralympic and World Champion Sarah Storey, Dani King and Alex Greenfield proved too much for the returning Rebecca Romero's 'Orbea for Goodness Shakes' team.
