THE hard work being done to promote handball in the community in the North West continued last month when the first City of Liverpool Handball Championships were staged at Archbishop Beck Sports College. Four schools took part, with all but one entering both boys and girls into the round-robin format event. Blessed Sacrament School won the event with 12 points, while Holy Name Primary were just behind.
