They achieved success on their third attempt. The second was incredibly close but, as the last woman took grips, some left on the other side of the formation, to open their parachutes. With a poor weather forecast for Sunday, the team knew the third attempt would be the last chance.

Safety is always the number one priority. With 68 women freefalling in close proximity to each other at 120 mph for 60 seconds, every aspect of the jump was briefed in detail. The team walked the skydive countless times on the ground. Nerves were taut and the ride to altitude was made in absolute silence, as the women remained entirely focused on the job.
