Coach Norberto Silva has had the squad training regularly against senior players in various friendlies ahead of their Group D clashes with Australia, Sweden and Mali later this month.
The consensus is that the training camps have been a success and the squad is raring to go.
Guard Angela told the Brazilian Basketball Confederation's official website: "We are training hard to be fit and fight for gold.

"The group have improved more and more with training and friendlies against adult squads were very useful."
Before the World Championship gets underway on July 26, the national team will play the La Palma International Tournament in Spain.
Forward Tayene said: "We are hoping to represent Brazil as well as possible in the World Championship and we've improved a lot in training."
Centre Nadia added: "We've formed a very nice generation who are focused on the goal of clinching the title.
"It is like what our coach says - we have to think about the best to achieve big goals.
"The friendly tournament in Spain will be a very important test for the team."
