Heena Sidhu on her Silver medal, she says, “Silver was not on my mind, it was Gold. Anyway, I tried hard. Hard luck I didn’t win. I didn’t know I was leading. I was focusing on my job. I wasn’t calculating the scores.”
About her performance, she says “The Qualification round didn’t go well. And this isn’t what I had expected in the final. I usually shoot better scores in the final than this (481.6 points). But it’s OK, I tried hard and I tried not to get a bad shot." The next thing on her mind right now is the Asian Games and she plans to do better. About her preparations, “I train on the targets for two hours every day and one hour I devote to physical exercise. Before sleeping I meditate.” She later confesses that her Gold winning competitor Ng Pei Chin Bibiana did a good job, but says that her own final (Heena Sidhu) wasn't good. – Inputs from GNS and PTI
