Bandits sign third round pick, Hull

Chicago Bandits GM, Aaron M. Moore announced the team has signed Maggie
Hull who was picked in the third round of the 2013 NPF Senior Draft.

Hull, who was the No. 11 overall selection in the draft, just concluded her senior season at the University of Kansas where she was a three-time All-Big 12 honoree.

"We're very pleased with the addition
of Maggie to the Bandits," said Moore. "She's another player who excels
from the left side of the plate and will be looked at as a table setter
for our lineup. If she can carry the same success she had in her four
years at KU to the pro league, she's going to have a great season."

While at Kansas, Hull led the Big 12 Conference in 2012 with a .409
batting average, breaking a KU single-season record that stood for more
than 30 years. She led her team with 67 hits and scored 46 runs, which
tied a Kansas record for the most runs scored in a season. At the
conclusion of her historic 2012 season, Hull earned All-Big 12 First
Team honors, making her KU's first player to earn first team
all-conference status since 2006.

"I am excited and honored to be
joining the Bandits this summer in the NPF. My passion and love for the
game of softball has only grown through my college career at Kansas, and
I am humbled to be able to wear a Chicago jersey and play among the best
players in the world.

"I know the Bandits are a successfully run
organization with a great stadium and fan base, and I am ready to bring
my competitiveness and determination to the line-up and contribute in
whatever role to win the 2013 Championship."

Hull and the rest of the
Bandits will begin the 2013 season on Saturday, June 1 with an
exhibition game against the Indiana Slammers at The Ballpark at
Rosemont.
