Bandits seeking interns for the 2013/14 period

The Chicago Bandits are seeking interns for the 2013-14 offseason with immediate openings available in several departments,
including ticket sales, marketing, public relations and graphic design.

An internship with the Bandits allows both, undergraduate and graduate
students, the ability to explore a career in the sports industry, while
working alongside team employees. Bandits interns are usually assigned
tasks with great responsibility that has a direct impact on the
day-to-day operation of the team. This responsibility has not only
helped the Bandits succeed, but has also helped prepare the interns for
a professional job.

Recent interns of the Bandits have accepted positions with the St. Louis
Rams (NFL), Phoenix Coyotes (NHL), St. Louis Blues (NHL) and Tampa Bay
Rays (MLB) and nearly the entire Bandits front office began as an intern
with the team.

The Bandits internship program targets students who have demonstrated
leadership in not only academics, but their work experience as well as
extracurricular activities.

Internships currently available during the offseason include:

* Ticket Sales (season and corporate outings)
* Team Operations (tournaments, events, etc.)
* Public Relations
* Marketing and Partnerships
* Community Relations (player coordination, reading program, etc.)

Each internship opportunity with the Bandits organization is unpaid, but
does have the ability to turn into a paid position based on the intern's
performance and revenue generating efforts. College credit is available
for all internship positions.

be of most interest to you, estimated start and end dates as well as
your availability on a weekly basis.
