470 Women’s Class Day One – AUS 2nd

Opening their regatta with fantastic form, the youngest members of the Australian sailing team, Elise Rechichi and Tessa Parkinson from Perth scored two 2nd places today which puts them in second place on equal points with the first placed Dutch Team with the Spanish in third with 9 points.

3 – ESP – 9 points

RS:X Women’s Class Day One – AUS 2nd

Three time Olympian, Jessica Crisp has burst out onto the race course scoring a 2nd and 4th placing her 2nd overall after day one, four points of the leading Chinese sailor and one point ahead of Great Britain’s windsurfer.

1 – CHN – 2 points

2 – AUS – 6 points

3 – GBR – 7 points

Yngling Class Day Three – AUS 3rd

Krystal Weir, Karyn Gojnich and Angela Farrell end day three of racing in third place overall on 32 points. It is very close with only four points between 3rd and 11th so the team can’t relax yet. The top two teams have separated from the pack with the leaders, Great Britain on 16 points and the Dutch on 18 points. The Yngling fleet get a rest day tomorrow.
