Vanessa Atkinson kicked off her 2009 campaign in great style by winning the Women's Liberty Bell Open in the USA.
The top seed beat fourth seed Joshna Chinappa 11-7, 11-7, 11-5 in the final of the $11,000 WISPA World Tour squash event at Berwyn Squash & Fitness Club in Berwyn, Philadelphia.
Atkinson, a former World Open champion and ten times winner of the Dutch national title, is celebrating the 21st Tour title - but the first since March 2006.
