Athletes Earn Titles On Opening Day Of 66th GOODE Water Ski National Championships
The 66th annual GOODE Water Ski National Championships, presented by Speedo, kicked off Tuesday with 21 athletes earning national titles at Okeeheelee Park.
Among the highlights on Tuesday, Frances Woofenden (West Palm Beach, Fla.) the oldest competitor competing in the Nationals, won respective event titles. Woofenden, 83, won Women 10 slalom. In other events, Brittany Greenwood (Little Rock, Ark.) won the Girls 2 national jumping title for the second consecutive year and Caroline Hensley (Hixson, Tenn.) won Girls 3 national tricks and jumping titles.
