Buenos Aires, Argentina, April 14, 2011 - The Argentina girls' youth team has begun preparations for the 2011 season with the FIVB Volleyball Girls’ Youth World Championship, to be held in Turkey, set to be the highlight of their season.
The side, coached by Guillermo Cáceres, will travel to Mexico to train for two weeks and play international friendly matches.
The Argentine delegation will travel on Saturday to Tijuana before competing in the Baja California Cup alongside Cuba, Dominican Republic, USA and the hosts.
Also, the Argentine delegation will train and play friendly matches (not open to the spectators) against the host team.
The roster travelling includes the following players that participated of the ACLAV Argentine A1 Senior Women Teams League: Graciela Allende, Fiorela Rivoira (setters), Priscila Bosio, Agostina Zurbriggen (opposite players), Micaela Tassara, Natalia Cendán, Ariana González (middle players), Sol Calvete, Irene Verasio, Antonela Fortuna (wing spikers) and Jazmín Molli (libero).
