Simone BILES (USA) once again took the gold, after a difficult routine (double twisting double tuck but also a double layout with half turn) for 15.000.
Vanessa FERRARI (ITA), 4th in qualifications, impressed with her stuck landings and clean execution. She took the silver with 14.633.
And in third place, Larisa IORDACHE, the favorite for the title on beam, managed to grab the bronze medal with a double twiting double tuck, a full twisting double tuck and a double pike (14.600).
Crowd's favorite, Sandra IZBASA (ROU) fell on her last pass, a two and a half twist to a full twist (13.733).
