Madrid is one of the candidate Cities for the 2016 Olympic Games.
And Mountainbike is one of the Olympic disciplines for the Summer Olympic Games’ edition.
Casa de Campo is the selected location for the third round of the Cross Country UCI World Cup, and the track is almost the same of those that will be created for the 2016 Olympic event, in case of Madrid Town should be chosen by International Olympic Committee.
The Organization Last Lap and also the Town authorities have described the track “a particularly insidious track, not technical but very amazing and spectacular. We have to focus our attention on the audience, because without a great presence of fans the event would be the greatest one”.
At the starting line of this important international event, also the athletes of the GIANT ITALIA TEAM who have just competed in Offenburg. They will manage as usual by the Technical Manager Gianfranco Bechis.
Mediasport Center is not the only sportive and technical structure helping the Giant Italia Team to prepare its sportive season at the best. Also Saverio Ottolini, Trainer and Manager of the Sport Attitude Center, works actively defining trainings, food programs and more other.
