Well Liu Batchelor has taken on a charity challenge that will help you discover your passion for sport and fitness, while also raising money for Sport Relief 2016
She is participating in 100 different sports in 100 consecutive days; starting on 11th Dec 2015 and finishing on Sat 19th March 2016 – the weekend of Sport Relief. She hopes her video diaries showcasing each sport will inspire and help you find a sport worth sticking to.
"I believe there is a perfect sport out there for everyone – it's just a case of finding it!
It may not be a 'mainstream' sport, it may even be one you've never heard of before, but my challenge aims to showcase just how many sports are available on our doorstep.
You never know, you may even discover you have a natural talent for Underwater Hockey, Roller Derby, or Frisbee Golf!"
Injury has already forced Liu to change sports once, and since being diagnosed with arthritis in her injured knee, she searching for a new sport that still allows her to keep active and get all the emotional benefits of sport.
I don’t believe your sporting history or physical fitness should limit you for benefiting from sport – there is always something out there you can do. The bigger the challenge - the bigger the reward!
