McMahon in; von Bertouch, Cox and Bulley to rest in today's Test match
Sharelle McMahon has been named in the team for the Australian Diamonds' third and final match against the Jamaican Sunshine Girls. The captain was sidelined with a corked thigh for the first two matches of the Holden Netball Test Series and makes a welcome return today.
While the Diamonds have an unassailable 2-0 lead after comfortable wins in Melbourne and Sydney, the heat is on for selection as Norma Plummer faces the difficult task of trimming the current 15-player squad to a team of 12 for the Commonwealth Games in Delhi.
Vice-captain Natalie von Bertouch, shooter Cath Cox and defender Rebecca Bulley will take their turn on the sidelines today as Plummer continues to rotate the team and give all players the opportunity to show their best for the selectors.
