The International Federation of Netball Associations (IFNA) based in Manchester, England, today announced that Sarah Pickford is to join the organisation as its new Global Development Manager.
Sarah is local to Manchester and has been working in the field of sports development for more than five years years. In her previous job funded by Sport England and hosted by GreaterSport, she was specifically tasked with supporting and influencing the development of opportunities for women and girls to participate in sport and physical activity in the North West of England.
Sarah graduated with a BA(Hons) in PE with Business and Management studies and started her career as a PE Teacher before deciding to move into the sports development sector.
Besides being an experienced sports development worker Sarah is a keen sportswoman who previously represented Junior England in women’s cricket and is now an ECB women’s cricket selector.
