The Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) announced on Tuesday that two female athletes had tested positive for banned substances.

Nigerian sprinter Oludamola Osayomi has been stripped of her Gold medal in the Women's 100m for failing a drugs test. sayomi had tested positive for Methylexaneamine, which is categorised as a banned stimulant under category S6 of the World Anti-Doping Agency's list of prohibited substances and methods. Her B sample test confirmed the result of the A sample test. he Federation Court determined that Osayomi had violated anti-doping rules and would be disqualified from the Games and have all her competition results nullified.
The Gold medal for the Women's 100m will now be awarded to Natasha Mayers (SVG), the Silver to Katherine Endacott(ENG), and the Bronze to Bertille Delphine Atangana (CMR).
Indian Women's 20 km Road Race Walker Rani Yadav has also failed a drug test. with 19-Norandrosterone detected in her A Sample. Yadav has now been handed a provisional suspension, and will have her case heard at the Federation Court.
