World Netball Series Liverpool 2010

By Netball Australia

The Australian FastNet Diamonds have suffered their first loss of the Series, defeated by a strong Jamaican side. The final score in Liverpool's Echo Arena 32 - 30.

Despite leading the Jamaicans 6-5 at the end of the first quarter, the FastNet Diamonds were unable to extend the gap and narrowly trailed Jamaica for the remainder of the game.

Results have been mixed across the board -  the FastNet Ferns beat South Africa with ease 31 - 16, but later lost to England 26 - 24. Malawi beat South Africa 28 - 17. And still running high from their win against the FastNet Diamonds, Jamaica extended their winning form beating a very strong England side 27 - 20. The Jamaicans are looking pretty dangerous at this stage of the competition.

The Australian FastNet Diamonds will regroup before they take on Malawi in their next match
