In beautiful Portimao, Portugal the Formula Windsurfing World Championships have concluded after the closely contested seven day event. In the end, only one point separated first and second place in the Formula women representing ten nations.
The Butterfly Effect was in La Rochelle last week-end during it's famous boat trade show.
Eight women riders started from the beach of the water sports village with their boards to paddle
down to the harbour where they were exposed to the most beautiful boats of the tradeshow. 
The RYA’s top young windsurfing talent lived up to their billing going into this weekend’s inaugural RYA/UKWA National Windsurfing Championships picking up the crop of top titles at Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy (WPNSA). 
More than 150 windsurfers from all over Britain descend on Weymouth and Portland this weekend (13-14 September) for the inaugural RYA/UKWA National Windsurfing Championships. 
Come and be apart of France's first Butterfly effect. A free all women down winder and wind surf clinic. A windsurfing, kiting and stand up paddle event. 
The ISWC world rankings have been updated after the Euopean Championship 2008 in Karpathos, Greece.
