Jennie Finch to make an appearance with the Bandits
The game on June 9 against the USSSA Pride was already going to be a special one, but it just got more exciting as the Bandits have announced that former Bandit and Team USA star Jennie Finch will make her inaugural appearance at The Ballpark at Rosemont.

Alisa Goler, Monica Abbott grab top honors at NPF Awards Luncheon
Bandits rookie third baseman Alisa Goler (University of Georgia / Frankfurt, Ill.) continued the streak of NPF Miken Rookie of the Year awards for Chicago, making this the fourth consecutive season and fifth overall since the teams creation in 2005.

As the Bandits celebrated Fan Appreciation Night on the final home game of the 2011 regular season, both teams looked to go into the post season on a high note. Jamee Juarez started in the circle for the Bandits and Jordan Taylor for the Pride.

With the score at 2-0 in the bottom half of the sixth inning in favor of the USSSA Florida Pride, the clouds above Rosemont Stadium opened up, causing a downpour and suspending the game.
