The Spanish Female National Team will play Sweden in their international debut, on the 29th  of May in Terrassa, Barcelona.


Barcelona, ES - The Spanish Female National Team will play Sweden in their international debut, on the 29th  of May in Terrassa, Barcelona. The Spanish team held an intensive training camp in Barcelona to prepare for this important game, and will hold a second one in Madrid on the 7-8th May.

The coaching staff, consisting of the head coach Sergio Diaz, along with his team Álvaro Carmona , Arturo Abarca ,Alex Meifren ,Miguel Román , Francisco Valadez and Sebastian Serrano, will focus on technical training to finalize the details before facing the Swedish national team.

AEFA joins other leading countries pioneers in developing Female American Football National Teams. Working together with the CSD (National Sports Board) within the program “Women and American Football”, AEFA (Spanish federation) is moving forward this season, with the first ever National League rolling and also the second edition of the Spanish Cup.
