A special article on how the FIVB is helping to increase the number of female referees in the game features in the latest edition of VolleyWorld which is now online.
The piece looks at how women officials are becoming more prominent in both volleyball and beach volleyball and includes comments from Spain’s Susana Rodriguez who was one of the first referees the whistle the final of a FIVB tournament at the World Grand Prix 2011.
There are also reviews from the FIVB Volleyball Club World Championships and an interview with Brazilian star Sheilla.
