Dickons strikes gold in Melbourne

There were medals galore for University of Bath-based swimmers at the Victoria State Championships in Melbourne, Australia.
World University Games champion Jess Dickons led the way, winning gold in
the 200m butterfly. The University of Bath Sports Performance student beat
Beijing 2008 Olympian and 2011 World Championships silver medallist Ellen
Gandy into second place.
Siobhan-Marie O¹Connor won silver in the 200m individual medley and bronze
in the 400m individual medley. There was also a bronze for Chris
Walker-Hebborn in the 200m backstroke.
