The Melbourne Vixens are hoping to continue their undefeated run against the NSW Swifts in a classic Victoria versus New South Wales rivalry match this Sunday in Sydney.
It will be the first time the teams meet this season, and the Vixens will be looking to make amends for their 12 goal loss in the 12th round last year.
Melbourne Vixens co vice-captain Madison Browne said the match is a ‘must-win’ and that the team aims to build on their performance against the Tactix.
“Once again, we’ll be looking to make a really strong start and place good pressure on the scoreboard. The Swifts are a quality side including Diamonds players and have shown the great depth of their squad over the past few weeks. There’s a fierce rivalry between the two sides so it will definitely be a challenging match,” Browne said.
