FUDENAS MARATHON 2008

One year before the 500th anniversary of the bataillon “Soria9” the new general does a favour to all bikers in Europe with announcing the actual date for FudeNaS 2008. So it can begin the adventure “Operation Cereal Bar – a marathon as military exercises” on the 25th/26th of October.

Last year professional bikers like Kerstin Brachtendorf (Team Fiat Rotwild) were overwhelmed by the perfect organisation and discipline of the Spanish Military. For this reason they have already fixed the date in their race-calendar.

The route

You can choose by your own if you either want to ride the distance of 150 km in one day or in two stages (including an overnight stay in the military-camp) through the barren moonscape of Fuerteventura. It does not matter which alternative you prefer. The fact is that you will never forget the windy trails through the desert, combined with a little touch of TOP-GUN-Feeling.

‘all-around-carefree-package’

The organiser of the Open MTB Marathon Gran Canaria, Petra Wonisch, will take care of the foreign participants of the FudeNaS Marathon. She will be your contact person for questions and comfort. Especially for you she created one of her famous ‘all-around-carefree-package’

and everything will be professionally organised of her hospitality, professionalism and care.
