WOMEN'S SPORTS LEAGUES JOINING FORCES AT SPORTS SUMMIT

Nashville, TN - Female athletes, teams and team owners/administrators are coming from all over the country and Canada to meet one another at the MARKETING WOMEN'S SPORTS CONFERENCE AND SUMMIT.

The conference which is being held November 5-6, 2007 in Nashville, TN. marks the first time that so many different women's sports will be together.

Participants so far include the NCAA, Vanderbilt University, the National Women's Football Association, the National Fast Pitch Women's Pro Softball League, the WNBA's New York Liberty women's professional basketball team, the University of Louisville, the National Women's Pro Rodeo Association, the American Volleyball Coaches Association, Women's Lacrosse, Women's Boxing, Women's Roller Derby, Women's Ultimate Fighting and Women's Hockey.

"It's exciting to realize that for the first time ever, many of these women's sports teams and groups will have the chance to network with one another and to present their sports to the corporate world in a forum that will promote more success," states Catherine Masters, the organizer of the event.

In addition to the various women's sports that will be in attendance, there will be an impressive array of corporations such as NIKE, ESPN, Under Armour, Defender Team Sales, Disney, GCI Group, Rosen Brichta Advertising and Marketing, Sportsbranded Marketing, Alday Communications, The Premier Retail Networks, Power Marketing Partners, Green Bee Fundraising, the Women's Sports Foundation, Baker Gillis Productions, Comcast, The Associated Press, EZ-TIXX, Blondie Productions, the Frix Group, Her Sports and Fitness Magazine and Network Foundation Technologies.

"Women's sports are going to explode in 2008 and this conference is going to light the fuse. With all of these people coming together to help promote women's sports, it will be an exciting and highly productive event," Masters adds.
