The National Women's Football Association, the premiere tackle football league for women, in an effort to promote the league and women's tackle football, has announced an exciting venture with international suspense author, Kurt Bryan, and the upcoming major motion picture based on his novel, THE GAME BREAKER!
The Game Breaker, a popular suspense novel by Kurt Bryan, (author of The Game Breaker &The Double Move) from Sterling House Publisher, is about the first ever world-class female athlete to receive a scholarship to play football in the NCAA. Featuring the beautiful and incredibly gifted female superstar, TJ Woods, battling against the most cunning political villain of the 21st Century, The Game Breaker combines an innovative sports twist with cutting-edge politics at a relentless pace.
Producer, Mitchell Stein has agreed to produce The Game Breaker, and believes, “Its massive crossover appeal featuring sports, politics and sex will attract a worldwide audience ready for an original breathtaking experience.”

Passion and Armstrong Team Up
PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Passion Women's Football has partnered with Armstrong for a television and community collaboration.
Armstrong will air all Passion home games for the 2007 season through its video on demand service as well as on Local Origination channels. The games will appear on Armstrong systems in Meadville, Grove City, Butler, Zelienople, and Connellsville, Pennsylvania and Boardman Ohio.
Passion athletes will run skill clinics, speak, and make on-site appearances at many Armstrong community events throughout the year.

AUSTIN OUTLAWS PARTNER WITH CHAMPIONS, ANNOUNCE SEASON KICK-OFF PARTY!
The Austin Outlaws Women's Football Team has singed Champions Sports Bar as their official post-game party headquarters for the 2007 season. Champions Sports Bar is located in popular downtown Austin on 4th and Trinity, and is also home to the Austin Wranglers post-game activities. “We’re mostly excited for our fans and players to have such a great location to mingle after games. It’ll be a great feature for visiting teams as it’s close to 6th street and gives visiting players a chance to see the famous Austin entertainment scene” states Julie Wilke, Director of Sponsorships.
The Outlaws will kick off the 2007 season with a party at Champions this coming Saturday, April 7th starting at 9pm. The Outlaws are members of the National Womens Football Association and the only womens football team in Austin. The NWFA is the largest full-contact women's football league in the world with more than 40 teams nationwide. The Outlaws play in the Southwest Division and will battle rival teams in the Oklahoma City Lightning, Dallas Rage, Gulf Coast Herricanes, and the Pensacola Power. The Outlaws ended their 2006 season with their first appearance in the NWFA Playoffs. They went 6-2 on the regular season, ending with a loss to the Chattanooga Locomotion in Round 1 of the playoffs. Their first game for the 2007 season will be on April 14th at House Park Stadium.

ICKEY WOOD'S SIZZLE WOMEN'S FOOTBALL TEAM NAMES MEDIA DIRECTOR
Dan Albers has just been announced as Media Director of the Cincinnati Sizzle Women’s Professional Football Team. Dan has been associated with the Sizzle for three years. The Sizzle is coached and owned by former Bengals and NFL star running back, Ickey Woods.
Albers has extensive experience in media and in addition to working with the press, he also produces a variety of TV programs for sports teams. He started as an intern with Ohio Center for Broadcasting, continued to broadcast play-by-play for the team. Albers also broadcasts for Mount Saint Joseph football, Southwest Patriots semiprofessional football, Cincinnati State men’s and women’s basketball, and Anderson High School football and basketball.
During the 2007 season, Albers will televise the “Sizzle Review” show with interviews with Ickey Woods, support coaches, and players. Fans will be able to check out conversations about past game highlights, upcoming games, player statistics, and Sizzle strategy. The “Sizzle Review” airs on channels 15, 18, and 22 on various nights (check back for specific times and days).
"It's great to be working with Ickey and his team. They are a group of highly talented and extremely dedicated athletes and we are looking forward to a successful season this year, " he states. Sizzle owner Woods is pleased about Albers appointment. "Making sure the media knows what we are doing is crucial for not only the success of our team but for our league as well. You can meet the ladies at Madison Fitness Kickboxing on Saturday, April 14 from 11am to 1pm. The players will be signing autographs and giving away door prizes.
