WEEKLY ICENETWORK.COM “WORLD FIGURE SKATER RANKINGS”

-Rankings for week of Oct. 29, 2007-

Colorado Springs, Colo. (Oct. 29, 2007) U.S. Figure Skating and icenetwork.com compile the “World Figure Skater Rankings”, which can be found on icenetwork.com. The rankings, updated weekly, will rank the top 20 figure skaters in the world in ladies, men’s, pairs and ice dancing.

A skater or team’s ranking is determined by the total points accumulated since the 2005-06 season. This points-based system takes into account both national and international competitions. Skaters not competing in the 2007-08 season will not be considered for the rankings. More information about the criteria for ranking can be found on icenetwork.com. The icenetwork.com World Figure Skater Rankings will be updated on icenetwork.com each Monday.
