Volleyball Australia seeking applicants for Women's National Technical Director position

The AVF is now calling for applications from suitable qualified candidates for the new position of Women’s National Technical Director (WNTD). The Technical Director will work closely with the AVF High Performance Manager and Head Coaches of the Women’s National Team and AIS/National Beach Volleyball Program to provide important strategic, tactical and technical direction to the AVF and its talent identification and development pathway for elite female athletes, including state institute and academy of sport programs and AVL clubs.

Ideally, the successful candidate will be a Level 2 coach with demonstrated experience in the development and delivery of elite Volleyball programs. He/she will have worked extensively with female athletes at all levels and will understand the challenges associated with developing world-class Volleyball players and teams (i.e. Indoor and Beach). The Technical Director must be able to plan strategically and will have excellent communication and organisational skills.
