Viborg and Valcea one step closer


The first leg of the women’s semi-finals in the EHF Champions League produced two really fast and high quality games. Viborg win the home game by six goals, a result giving some confidence for the second leg in Norway. However, this was not the only joy for the Danish fans; Grit Jurack has made a comeback after giving birth and she proved her exceptional qualities with three goals at her first game this season.

The match in Győr between the Hungarian and Romanian champions was fiercely fought. Győr saved a point in the last seconds, but the final decision is coming up on Sunday. Valcea seem to be a step closer to success, but with two teams at this

level the home advantage is not everything that you can rely on…
