Thirty Players Participating in Off-Ice Training in Colorado Springs, Colo.
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Beginning on Monday (June 8), USA Hockey will host 30 of the top female hockey players in the country during its third annual Women's National Performance Evaluation Camp at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Teena Murray, strength and conditioning coach for the U.S. Women's National Program, will lead the camp, along with other members of the U.S. staff, including Cornelia Holden, sports psychology consultant, Jill Kolivoski, ART therapist, and Jill Radzinski, athletic trainer. In addition, personnel at the Olympic Training Center will provide further assistance and the 2010 U.S. Olympic Women's Ice Hockey Team coaching staff (Mark Johnson, Dave Flint and Jodi McKenna) will be on-site and involved in the camp.
The camp roster includes all 21 players from the gold medal-winning 2009 U.S. Women's National Team and a total of nine Olympians.
