Fellow Team USA stars Delisha Milton-Jones, fresh off her Spanish title-winning campaign with Ros Casares, scored 15 points and grabbed eight rebounds while WNBA rookie Candace Parker weighed in with 12.

Atlanta got 17 points from Iziane while Erika de Souza scored 11 and pulled down six boards.

Both Iziane and Erika will play for Brazil at the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament in June.

In Sunday’s other game, Detroit’s Team USA guard Katie Smith was just one of nine from the floor and finished with three points but the Shock still won 72-62 over the New York Liberty.

Plenette Pierson, who is coming of a fine season at EuroCup Women runners-up BC Moscow, led the Shock with 25 points.
