U.S. Water Ski Athletes Continue To Impress At 2007 Pan American Games

RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil 􀀁 U.S. Water Ski Team members Regina Jaquess (Suwanee, Ga.),
Mandy Nightingale (Sapulpa, Okla.) and Cory Pickos (Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.) each advanced to the finals in respective events on Sunday as preliminary-round action in water skiing continued at the 2007 Pan American Games at Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas.
Jaquess and Nightingale advanced in two events – women’s jumping and tricks – to put them in
position to earn medals in all three events at this year’s Games. They advanced to the finals of women’s slalom on Saturday. Pickos advanced to the finals in Men’s tricks after tallying 9,700 points. The finals in jumping and tricks will be held Tuesday.
