Kerry, the ELGA order of merit titleholder from Waterlooville, and Liz, from Brokenhurst Manor, are both members of the GB&I Vagliano Trophy team which will take on the Continent of Europe at the end of the month.
The South-East championship has attracted one of the best fields for many years and was over-subscribed. There are six players with handicaps of scratch or better. Players with handicaps over six failed to get a place in the competition.
Sarah Tyson, 16, from The London won this event last year and will defend her title. Sarah, Kerry and Liz are all members of ELGA squads.
The championship is run by ELGA’s South-East Division and will be sponsored for the 18th consecutive year by The Lady magazine.
