Field list shaping up to be the BEST in State Farm Classic history

SPRINGFIELD, IL - With seven weeks until the LPGA State Farm Classic,
the 25 highest ranked players on the LPGA Money List have committed to
playing in this year's tournament.  The best golfers on tour will
compete for the title, including Defending Champion, #9 ranked Cristie
Kerr, at Panther Creek Country Club in Springfield, June 9-12.

Other top Money List leaders include Yani Tseng, Karrie Webb, Stacey
Lewis, Sandra Gal, I.K. Kim, Michelle Wie, Jiyal Shin, Morgan Pressel,
and Paula Creamer.  Other notables you may see at the Classic include
Brittany Lincicome, Angela Stanford, Juli Inkster, Kristy McPherson, Se
Ri Pak and a local fan favorite, Christina Kim.

"This is the only opportunity in the Midwest for fans to see the women
of the LPGA compete and the 2011 field is shaping up to be the best in
our history," Executive Director Kate Peters said.  "The Classic has
become a tradition in Central Illinois and many of these players are a
part of that.  This is a family event like no other in Illinois and
we're excited to kick off the 36th year."

In addition to watching four days tournament action, fans can play with
the ladies of the LPGA in this year's ProAm events.  There are still
openings to secure a chance to play with the best players on tour - no
matter what your skill level.  Register to take part in the experience
