The Co-operative Netball Superleague Looks Ahead to the Weekend

As a tight weekend of competition approaches, players in The Co-operative Netball Superleague are preparing for action.

First to play this weekend is Leeds Carnegie v Loughborough Lightning at Leeds Metropolitan University (Saturday 2pm). Spectators can expect to see a strong Leeds side after last rounds close defeat to Brunel Hurricanes, as they look to come firing back to secure a home win.

Glasgow Wildcats play second against the feisty Brunel Hurricanes at Bellahouston Leisure Centre (Saturday 3pm). The Wildcats are determined to secure their first win on the board; however Brunel will be tough competition as they look to cement their early status in the top four.

The game to watch this weekend will be Northern Thunder v Mavericks at the Castle Leisure Centre in Bury (Saturday 4pm). Northern Thunder will be pumped to secure a win, which promises plenty of action from the outset.

Finally, Team Northumbria will have to play their best game to unsettle the undefeated TeamBath at the televised game at Gateshead Leisure Centre (Monday 7.30pm). The recent short break has allowed TeamBath to work on consistency and goal shooting, so spectators can expect to see some fast-paced netball.

Followers of The Co-operative Netball Superleague can watch Team Northumbria v TeamBath on Thursday 27th November on Sky Sports 3 from 5:30pm.
