New South Wales has clinched the 2008 19/U title at The Athlete’s Foot Netball Championship, defeating Victoria 19-15. It was sweet revenge for NSW, who were narrowly defeated by Victoria in the 17/U Grand Final over the weekend.
South Australia held onto 3rd position, defeating Queensland by just one goal 34-33.
Meanwhile, Victoria remains the only undefeated team in the 21/U competition with a win over NSW in Round 4. However, the NSW outfit bounced back strongly in the afternoon, demolishing Tasmania by 45 goals.
The Grand Final of the 21/U division will be played on Wednesday afternoon.
