Britain's Sarah Stevenson took Olympic bronze in the women's +76kg taekwondo after a rollercoaster day of emotions.

Stevenson lost her quarter-final to China's Chen Zhong, but a successful appeal against the controversial decision gave her a second chance.

The 25-year-old seemed thrown by the unprecedented reversal of the result as she lost her semi-final to Mexico's Maria del Rosario Espinoza.
