Support TeamBath and Sport Relief on Friday

TeamBath is entering into the spirit of Sport Relief by slashing the prices of tickets for Friday (19 March) night’s Superleague netball contest between TeamBath and Team Northumbria.

As the TeamBath v Team Northumbria game takes place at the beginning of the Sport Relief weekend, as a one-off special offer tickets have been reduced to half price for the game.

All we ask is that as well as enjoying a feast of top-flight netball, you also make a contribution to Sport Relief at the Sports Training Village on the night.

“Sport Relief is a huge event and we’re pleased to be able to offer our fans the chance to watch Friday’s game at a reduced price,” said Jess Garland, TeamBath’s head coach.

“It means adults can watch the game for just £3.50 with concession tickets priced at just £2.50,” added Garland. “That’s a fantastic price for watching a Superleague game, so all we ask is that you look kindly on the Sport Relief collection buckets that will be passed amongst the crowd at the Sports Training Village on the night.

“Sport Relief does so much wonderful work that we hope our supporters will dig deep on Friday.”

Friday’s game, which gets underway at 8pm, is a re-arranged fixture that had previously fallen victim to the weather.

TeamBath go into the fixture in second place in the Co-operative Superleague table, with Team Northumbria sixth. TeamBath ran out 64-39 winners when the two teams met in the reverse fixture at the end of last month.

“I was very pleased with our recent performance against Team Northumbria and we’ll be looking for much the same on Friday. This is a key period for us as we build towards our games home games against Mavericks (22 March) and Surrey Storm (28 March) and our players are looking forward to the challenges of the next few weeks.”
