SPEAKERS NAMED FOR SPONSORSHIP PANEL AT

Jerry Rosen-Moderator is the Chief Operating Officer of Rosen &Brichta Advertising and Marketing He began his advertising career as an art director at D'Arcy McManus and Masius in St. Louis. After moving to Chicago in the early 80's, he worked at Campbell Mithum Esty. At 30, Jerry opened his own agency and has since enjoyed a client roster that includes or has included, Cingular Wireless, the Chicago White Sox, the Chicago Bulls, Wendy's International and others. Jerry is the recipient of over 40 creative advertising awards and has been recognized for his advertising expertise in The Chicago Tribune, Crain's Chicago Business, Ad Week, Ad Age and the New York Times. He serves on the Board of Governors for the Association of American Advertising Agencies, is a board member of the Airoom Foundation and of the board of directors for the Chicago Fire's Fireworks for Kids Foundation.



Bobby Markowitz is the Vice President of Sponsorship Marketing for Earthquake Media. He is responsible for the company's overall events strategy, promotional development and sponsorship activation for the company and its clients.  Prior to joining Earthquake Media, Markowitz built and directed the marketing for Ziff Davis Media's video gamer social network 1UP.com in San Francisco and Sports.com, a sister site to Viacom's CBS SportsLine and Europe's largest online sports entertainment destination, based in London.  Also while in Europe, Markowitz developed business and activated sponsorships for RPMC, an LA-based experiential marketing excitement agency.  Before moving overseas, Markowitz served as both radio marketing manager and international marketing manager for SportsLine.com after being recruited from SportsRadio 560 WQAM where he was Sports Sponsorship Specialist for the Florida Marlins Radio Network. Mr. Markowitz has a BS in psychology from the University of Florida and is an MBA graduate of the University Miami, Florida with a focus on international business.



Yolanda Jackson is the Director of Athlete Marketing and Promotions for the Women's Sports Foundation. Yolanda directly interacts regularly with more than six hundred elite, Olympic, world class champion and professional female athletes, in close to 100 different sports, and communicates regularly with over a thousand others in any given year.  She is responsible for consulting with corporations and athlete representatives on endorsement negotiations, as well as acting as liaison between athletes and the many organizations and corporations with which the Foundation is associated.  She created and runs the Foundation's Speakers Service which includes over a hundred elite athletes; designs and presents education and development seminars for elite athletes and the sports marketing community, and assists in the planning of corporate sponsored events which feature women athletes. In 2001, Foundation founder, Billie Jean King created the Yolanda L. Jackson Give Back Award in recognition of her work with athletes. It is an endowed award given annually to an athlete who gives back to her community and to girls following in her footsteps.  She worked with the Arthur Ashe Athletic Association and during her nine year tenure as Executive Director, she was instrumental in creating the organization's student-athlete mentoring program which led to summer internships in major corporations including ABC Sports television among others. A native New Yorker, Jackson received her bachelor's degree in sociology from Iona College in New Rochelle, NY, holds a master's degree in industrial psychology from Columbia University, and a postgraduate certificate in Sports, Entertainment and Events Marketing from the New York University School of Professional Studies.



Angelo Scialfa is the Director of Marketing Partnerships for the WNBA's New York Liberty. Scialfa has been with the Liberty since November 2006.  He is responsible for corporate sponsorship sales and new business development calling on fortune 1000 companies.  His 22 years of marketing and sales includes 12 years at Penn State, 2 years at the New York Giants Radio Network and 4 years Eastman Radio Sales all as a Sports sales and marketing professional.



Aleia Naylor is the Senior Marketing Officer for the Women's Sports Foundation. As the Senior Marketing Officer for the Women's Sports Foundation Naylor serves as the primary liaison for corporate membership, national, event, and program partnerships.  She is responsible for sponsor administration, internal and external sponsor relations, and sponsor cultivation.



"These speakers have a wealth of information that will be extremely useful to the people attending the conference. The two day conference is the first time that the movers and shakers in women's sports will meet to network and exchange information.
