Ipswich continue to lead the way in Womens Conference East. They overcame Cambridge City 5-0. Second placed Sevenoaks remain in touch after beating relegation threatened Southgate 4-0.
Southgate in ninth remain two points ahead of Northampton who lost 2-1 at Old Loughtonians. In Womens Conference North leaders Durham University won 3-0 at Bradford Wakefield and nearest rivals Sutton saw their game with Belper frozen off as was the Sunderland – Beeston game. Sunderland remain bottom but Sheffield Hallam moved out of the bottom two thanks to a 2-1 over South Yorkshire rivals Doncaster.
Liverpool are now ninth after losing 1-0 to Loughborough. With only seven points separating bottom to fourth the battle to avoid the drop will be intense in the last five weeks of matches. Womens West leaders Cannock won 4-1 away at Swansea but Barnes HE, who they beat last week, are level on points and improved their difference after a 7-0 thrashing of Aldridge. Aldridge slip to the foot of the table as Bournemouth moved up thanks to a 1-0 win over Bath.
