Seasons come and go but some things never change and the goalscoring feats of Bowdon Hightown’s Tina Cullen is one of those constants. Tina is one of the few players still playing in the league who appeared in the first season back in 1989-90 and her appetite for goals appears undiminished. On Saturday her hat trick helped Hightown to a 4-2 win at Olton and with it top spot in the embryonic league table with two wins out of two. Slough and Canterbury are the other two sides who hold 100% records. Slough fell behind to an early Chloe Rogers goal at Chelmsford but powered back to win 5-1. Canterbury found the going tougher at Clifton and for the second week running recorded a 3-2 win at a promoted side’s ground. The temporary return of international players helped Leicester to a 6-1 win at Old Loughtonians with Panter, Herbert and Richardson all on the scoresheet.
