The two day event, August 25th and 26th at Twin Elm Rugby Park just outside of Ottawa in Nepean, Ontario, will show case 11 Men's teams and 6 women's team from the NACRA region.
With a spot in the 2013 Rugby 7s World Cup in Moscow, Russia on the line, the top 2 Men's squads qualifying and the top Women's team moving on, every team will be hitting the field hard.
Now that the 2012 London Summer Olympics officially are over, everyone is now looking to 2016 in Rio, where Rugby 7s will make its debut and some of the stars being showcased in this tournament have an excellent shot at being there.
The event will kick off at 9 am on Saturday. The National Senior Women's team will see their tournament start off at 10:20am against Mexico, hitting the pitch again at 1:10pm against the Cayman Islands and finish off their day in a rematch of last year's women's final against Jamaica at 4:10pm.
