This was the third edition of the 3x3 U23 Nations League, which was launched to offer an opportunity for the future talents to hone their skills in preparation for the FIBA 3x3 World Cup, multi-sport games and future Olympic Games.
The competition was included in the program of the first-ever World Urban Games. which featured 6 competition sports and disciplines (BMX freestyle, Breaking, Flying Disc Freestyle, Parkour, Roller Freestyle and 3x3) and 2 showcase sports (Indoor Rowing and Laser Run).
