what's going on?

RVCA South Africa is presenting a series of surf contests across the country. The series is called 'Roll With RVCA' and is a grassroots surf series project aimed at getting the whole family down to the beach. The events are set to take place across the country and will be hosted by local independent surf shops. The series is presented exclusively by Zigzag Surfing Magazine.

when is this going down?

First event is happening this Sunday 28 March. The dates of the rest of the series will be announced shortly.

where is it happening?

This first event is set to take place in Port Elizabeth. Contestants are to meet at The Pipe at Pollock Beach at 8:00 AM on Sunday. This event is hosted by Surf Centre, so if you want to enter in the meantime you can suanter over to Surf Centre and sign up, or you can enter at the beach on the day. why is this happening?

These days surf contests have become extremely competitive and dramatic. RVCA decided to bring some fun back into surf contests, and invite the whole family down for a day at the beach. The Roll With RVCA events have divisions for everyone, including U19, Open, Over 35, Girls and a Retro division, ensuring everyone gets a chance to surf.

who is going to be competing?

The contest is open to anyone who wants to enter. Prize pool consists of R10,000 worth of RVCA products per tournament across the divisions. Family participation is welcomed and encouraged. As part and parcel of the first Roll With RVCA event, Eastern Province Surfing Council will be presenting an Inter-club challenge which will take the form of a Tag Team contest. This Surfing South Africa project is supported by Sport and Recreation South Africa
