Northern Ireland appoint new coach

Netball Northern Ireland (NNI) has appointed New Zealander Kate Carpenter as its first ever high performance coach/manager on a two year contract.

Most recently the coach to the Singapore national side, Carpenter has previously been head coach of ANZ Championship side Central Pulse and worked as the high performance manager at Netball Wellington in New Zealand.

She will now be working with the NNI squad as they prepare for the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow next year:  she is pictured at a squad training session earlier this week.
